Hmm. Just out of curiosity, is there a particular reason why Sora, Kairi and Axel all have the exact same eye color? Roxas and Namine do, too, but only because Sora and Kairi do...

I've been painting KH ponies for a while now, and they're coming along well, but now I need to let them dry for a bit so I'm doing some detailing on Ed!pony; I'm doing him differently than I did the first one way back when... I kind of cheated when I did him the first time, and I didn't draw much of his automail. ^_^;

This time I'm doing his automail (and he looks much spiffier than the first one I did), and I'm trying to decide how I'm going to draw the detailing on it. I think I'm going to do automail based after the anatomy of a horse, instead of trying to copy the details from Ed's actual automail... that makes sense, right? Mn...

And I need to get my bum in gear and work on Al!pony, too. But I keep procrastinating because he's going to have so much claywork. >>;

Oh, and speaking of claywork; I can't decide if I'm going to clay-model the hair for the KH ponies, or if I'm going to rehair them... I keep wavering on it. I mean, clay would give them all replicas of the character hair styles, but rehairing is so much easier~! ><;

I know I know, I'm being lazy. >>;;;

I should probably do clay like with the Ouran ones...

So last year I asked this, and then ended up not being able to get a table at Artist Alley, which SUCKED. But that's digressing. >>;

Basically, I'm asking what characters you all think I should attempt to make ponies from~

Because I know I'm not always 100% in tune with the newest big series/characters, lol. XD;

So far, my plans are Fruits Basket ponies (Jyuunishi, Tohru, Hana, Arisa), Ouran ponies (Hosts, and maybe Nekozawa and Renge), FMA ponies (so far just Ed, but probably at least Al as well) and SM Stars ponies (Seiya, Taiki and Yaten.) So that's like 30-ish ponies planned already. But I can do two a day (and I've got 9 done already), so I can do more than 30 if I get my bum in gear. ^.^

So what else is big right now? Any other characters I really should be doing?

I guess they don't have to be anime ponies, either. People at Artist Alley do all kinds of things...

Maybe I should try to get some of my CSI ponies done in time for AN, too...

EDIT: Yes, I'm still awake. Shush. >>;;

1) Go down to put the garbage out-- what's this? It was delivered to the neighbors by accident, and they've propped it outside the door for me. <3

2) Carry it back upstairs.

3) Squeeze package. *squeezesqueezegrope* Hmm. I wonder what's in it~

4) Try to open envelope. FAIL MISERABLY, STUPID PACKING TAPE.

5) Use scissors. SUCCESS! =D

6) Open card, yey. ^__^

7) Oogle enclosed pressies and their shiny pretty paper. Try to decide if you should be good and wait until Christmas to open it, or--

8) Squeeze first pressie. Hmm. Soft and squishy. >>

9) Open it.

10) OOOH, t-shirt! I wonder what it's got on--

11) SQUEE so loud your roommate knocks on the door and pokes her head inside to ask what's going on/if the animals did something stupid/if everything is okay.

12) *giggle fit here*

13) Pet the pretty Fullmetal Alchemist shirt. *petpetstrokemypreciousssss*

14) Consider being semi-good and saving the other pressie for Christmas--

15) Open that one too.

16) OMGYEYETC-CATFICCAGE! X3

17) Consider re-wrapping everything and pretending that you were good. >___>

18) Decide that's too much work.

19) Log on to LJ to write a somewhat convoluted THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH message to [livejournal.com profile] etcetera_cat ♥ ♥ ♥

20) Go to read the OMGYEYETC-CATFICCAGE.

Ryuu-chan called last weekend to ask if I wanted to go to her place and watch the FMA movie with her, since she found it for rent at Rogers or something. But last weekend I was busy, so we did it this weekend instead.

Yay Conqueror of Shamballa~ ^^
senashenta: (Tooru & Yuujirou)
Well, my jaw is feeling quite a bit better the last couple of days, but last night my right lung started hurting. Because obviously, I have to have pain in at least one body part at all times. < /sarcam > -_-;;

Oh well. If it doesn't get better, at least I have an appointment with my doctor soon. I'm going to go in to see her with a while REAM of stuff that I need her to check out... as usual. :P

Hm. So today I downloaded episode 10 of Ouran (note: *squee*), and a few episodes of Gakuen Heaven; I watched the first episode, and honestly wasn't really impressed. But since it is just the first episode, I figure I'll watch at least a couple more before I decide if it's worth keeping up with the series or not. :)

I have a ton of stuff on my hard drive again, now... I need to burn some discs to clear it off and then defragment. Other than Ouran (both subbed and raw) and Gakuen Heaven, I've also got a bunch of Pita Ten episodes, and the FMA movie. >^-^;; The problem is that The Conqueror of Shamballa is too big to fit onto a disc, so I have to split it into at least two parts (possibly three), before I can get it off my computer...

AAAAA~nyway.

Oh, my button maker came in today. ^_^ Eheheh. Yeah, it's a Hello Kitty one. So what? The same seller had like the exact same button maker, only not HK, and it was a lot more expensive, so... yeah. Who cares what the logo says? It works, and that's the important thing.

Ahaha~~ all the instructions were in Chinese. ^^; But I figured it out on my own, based on the pictures and some trial-and-error. I only screwed up three buttons before I had it figured out! YAY SENA! =3

Basically, I bought it because... I want to make buttons. Yeah, stupid, huh? :P lol. It makes 1 + 1/4 inch buttons (the little kind), and I kind of want to find/buy one that will make 2 + 1/4 inch ones (the big kind), too. Mostly so that I can make buttons for next year's Anime North convention, possibly as promotion for my ponies. We'll see. ^^

I made myself and [livejournal.com profile] cassandracsenta each an Ouran button today while I was practicing. X3

The set only comes with the making for 15 buttons, though, so I need to get some refills. Luckily, those are cheap and easy to come by, so it'll be no problem. Wow, though. Making buttons is so much easier than I thought it would be. >^-^;; Why did I think it'd be complicated? Ah, who knows...

....

Then tonight Mom took me out grocery shopping, and we went to get burgers for supper.

Oh, and Neko is pretty much fine with Loki now, except when Loki tried to get at his food dish. Then all bets are off. ;)

....

EXCITING, ne? ^_~

Okay. So. FMA in English.

...isn't nearly as bad as I was afraid it would be. O_o; It was actually one of the better dubs I've seen. The acting was decent, and for the most part the voices were really well done, too. It was only the second episode, though, so Ed and Al were in it, but no one else really was.

Anyway, Al's voice was pretty much what I thought it would be. Given that there's no worry about matching mouth movements with him, I figured he would be well done. That, and Japanese-Al's voice is one that would be pretty easy to replicate.

Where I was worried was when it came to Ed, since his voice is so distinct; they didn't try to get someone to duplicate the Japanese VA, though, they just gave him a different voice all together, and I think that was probably the best thing they could have done. It was a little odd, but it fit him relatively well, and the acting was good, so in general I was pleased.

Oh. But.

Al calling Ed "Ed" and not "Niisan" = *BRAIN 'SPLODEY!* @_@;; lol.

ARGHWTF?? =_=;;

.....

Okay, so I went to bed around eleven-ish, which is actually really early for me. But then, as per usual, I woke up almost exactly two hours later, and couldn't get back to sleep. Thusly, I got up and settled on the couch (with Pauper, since she was making pretty please Mommy? eyes at me from her pen) to watch some random TV shows until I got tired again.

A couple of hours and two CSI episodes later (note: I <3 satellite, I get channels that play CSI almost all the time! X3), I'm skimming through the program guide and just thinking that I might head back to bed when I spot a familiar title on the guide and-- ZOMGYTVPLAYSFULLMETALALCHEMISTNOW?! @_@;;

Yeah, FMA is on at four on YTV. It will be in English. And here I am, still up when I should have gone back to bed, waiting for it to come on, out of what can only be described as 'morbid curiosity'. I want to see how good/bad/meh the dub is, and I'm curious about the voices.

Aaaaaaah... I'm a sleep-deprived anime geek. :P lol.

At least Samurai Jack is on right now, and it's always entertaining, so I've got something to keep me busy until then.

Hopefully when I'm done with FMA I'll still be able to get to sleep.

GO JACK, GO! XD

Lookit Ed!pony! XD

Tons of pictures! )

I am so hugely pleased with how Ed came out! =3 RAWK ON.
senashenta: (Alchemy Rulz)
Okie doke. I'm 90% done Ed!pony! ^_^ I just need to get my rerooting tool in so I can do his mane (and then braid it, of course), and I'll be completely done. He even has his tail now! I am so pleased with how he's coming out! X3

So I decided to give anyone who's interested a little sneak-peek of currently-bald Pony!Ed. )

I have a bunch of in-progress pics that I'll post when I'm done and have pics of the completed project, too. ^^

Now! Help me decide something!

I'm considering whether or not to give him a symbol-- if I do, it'll be the one that's on the state alchemist's pocketwatch (which I should totally know the name of, but can't think of it right this instant), but I'm still kind of wavering on if I should or not. Any oppinions?

EDIT: Hmmm... that's not a very good picture, is it? Ah, well. It's just a peek anyway. ^_~ I'll make sure to take some really good pics when he's finished.

First, a note for all the IM-RPG people: Um... sorry about Sunday. I know I wasn't there. But like I said, Sundays aren't working out for me... -_-;; Meh... at least Akira isn't doing anything, so I didn't leave a HUGE GAPING HOLE in the story by not being able to make it. ...I think I need a new character. Akira's been pretty boring lately. :P

Anyway...

Yesterday I was supposed to get my freezer put in, but that didn't work out. Blegh. It doesn't fit up the front stairs because of the railing. =_=;; So! As the repairman is putting in the back door this week, we'll be taking it in that way once he gets the stairs put in and the doorway cut. Then I can finally start filling it.

Today I had an appointment up north with Mom, and that was about it. After I went to her place to do some laundry, and Trunks happened by, so I got to talk to him for a bit--he owes me money, dammit! lol. Whatever. He gets paid on Friday, so I should get it this weekend. While he was over I ended up borrowing his N64, too. I was supposed to take it a couple of weeks ago, but completely forgot... the entire point being that I filched his Zelda games to have a go at them again. ^_^

I haven't in a while, so it should be interesting...

EDIT: ACK! My FMA gloves came in today. =^-^= I am far too amused by them, I think...

EDIT #2: I think my computer is dying... =_=;; What a pain in the ass. I can't afford to go get it looked at, either.

Some Stuff

1) OMG. Coca Cola Chicken is awesome! *DROOLS* It tastes kinda like teriyaki, actually. ^^; And it took all of like, three whole minutes to put together. All you do is mix a packet of onion soup mix, a couple teaspoons of flour and a can of Coke together, and then pour it over the chicken {in the roasting pan/baking dish}. It takes about an hour an a half to cook, though, so you have to remember to put it in on time, or you'll be eating really late. >^-^<

2) Aaaaaa~h. Gave Neko a bath today; he gets bathed about 2-3 times a year, mostly when he's been shedding really badly. This time, he was shedding really badly (you can see kitty hair floating in the air around here...) and looking pretty scruffy, so I just got sick of it and bathed him. Then I brushed him for about 45 minutes while he was still damp, since that's when it's easiest to brush him out.

3) I looked in the classified ads for a chest freezer today, and tomorrow I'm supposed to go out and look at one. If I decide I'm going to buy it, it'll cost me $60. The reason I want a freezer is that I come from a family that freezes things--in the summer, for example, we buy/pick/whatever strawberries/raspberries/rhubarb/etc., and then freeze bags of them so that we can have them in the winter when they aren't widely available. Same thing with other misc. stuff like that.

HOWEVER.

Sarah, whom I share a fridge/freezer with, comes from a family that does not under any circumstances leave food in the freezer for more than about two weeks, tops. So I'll put stuff in the freezer, and within a week and a half, she's started bugging me about using it... and when I tell her I don't plan to use it any time soon, she starts asking if she can have it. No! That's not the point! ARGH! ...not to mention that the two of us just don't have enough freezer space to begin with. :P

Anyway, I'm on the prowl for a little chest-freezer, so that I can use that, and she can use the fridge-freezer, and stay the hell outta my stuff, dammit! *ticks slightly*

Murrr... =_=;;

4) And also in regards to the classifieds... I'm selling my drums. *sighs* I don't have the space for them, or really the interest anymore. And to tell you the truth, it makes me feel guilty that they're just sitting in storage right now--I'd much rather they were out being used by someone. Besides which, I could use the money.

So, five-piece drum kit, plus hi-hat, plus 1 crash symbol, plus foldable stool/seat. I'm selling for $500-$600, which is less than half of what the whole set originally cost, and it's all still in like-new condition, aside from a couple of faint scuffs on the crash symbol (which could probably just be polished off, now that I think about it...) They can have my sticks, too, if they want them... but one of em's cracked, so I doubt anyone will.

I'm considering selling my flute, too, for similar reasons; but unlike my drums, I do have the space for my flute, so there's a lot more of a possibility of me picking it back up again. I don't know what I'd ask for it, anyway... though I guess it cost just over $1,000 to buy brand-new (and again, still in like-new condition--I take good care of my instruments!), so I'd have to ask for at least $400-$500... meh. I'll probably never sell it anyway...

5) This weekend, my family's going to my cousin's wedding; I'm not going, though. ^^;; The thing is, this is Karen's wedding... and I haven't seen Karen in over ten years. So going to the wedding would be like going to the wedding of a complete stranger, basically. I have trouble with big crowds, too, and the idea of going kind of made me uncomfortable. I'm sending a card for her and her husband, though, and my best wishes, of course.

Huh. You know, between one thing and another, I've never actually been to a wedding... |_|;;

6) Bought Ryuu-chan's Christmas present really early! Heh, heh, heh... X3
senashenta: (Alchemy Rulz)
I'm seriously considering getting a tatoo.

Of an FMA transmutation circle. ^.^ Heh, heh, heh...

I'm having trouble deciding which one, though; the only one I'm not even considering is the human transmutation circle. How wierd would that be? =_=;; Anyway! Ryuu-chan likes the one that was tatooed on Scar's arm, and the one that Psiren uses to manipulate water. I kind of like the one that Majhal uses, and the one that Ed used when he was young.

Meh. I might go through the components and design my own or something.

1) I'm 75% finished downloading all 13 episodes of Wind: A Breath of Heart. It's supposed to be good. But then I've downloaded so much random anime lately that I may never get around to watching it. ^^; Nyahaha...

2) After Wind, I'm going back to downloading more Maria-sama ga Miteru, the last bits of Full Moon wo Sagashite that I don't have yet, and the Weiss Kreuz OVA. Having completed all those downloads, I can go looking for more random shows to poke my nose into. >^-^;;

3) Full Moon wo Sagashite's first OP is disturbingly adorable.

4) I need to finish watching FMA, but I'm too tired to keep my eyes focused for that long... =.=

5) I haven't had more than 2-3 hours sleep a night for the last 6 or 7 days. This will not do. If it keeps up, I'll start hallucinating or someting. @_@; Tonight I'm going to bed really early, and hoping I can get some decent sleep. *nods*

6) Because I haven't been sleeping well, my health is going down again, and the stupid sinus infection is coming back. >_<;; ARGH.

7) "You're a very good singer, but you can't be in my show!" =3

8) I'm still buying a rat (eventually), but instead of naming it "Socrates", I'm naming it "Yuki". XD

9) *scuttles off to do the dishes before she collapses into a fit of mania*

Period. No one wants to read this. )

Oh my God. I'm starting to get nosebleeds from this sinus infection. You've got to be kidding me! =_=;;

On the plus side, the congestion that's plagued me for the last month-and-a-bit seems to be starting to go away. I actually have short times when I can breathe through my nose! Wow! Amazing!

Hopefully I'm on an up swing with this... finally...

What else?

Oh... well, I might as well pimp [livejournal.com profile] writing_madness. It's an invite-only community for Velgarth fanfiction writing (you can also apply for membership on your own, but you may or may not be accepted). The invite/acceptance thing is basically for quality control, because the Velgarth/Heralds of Valdemar fandom is plagued by badfic. ^^;

Anyway! Whether you join or not, you can pop by and review the fics that have been posted/will be posted there. Reviewing doesn't require membership... and is very welcome! Please feel free to offer constructive criticism, which is always loved. ^_^

And finally...

New TV stand. Yayness. T'wasn't all that hard to put together, really... though it was a bit awkward at times, so I had to get Mom to help, just because I don't have four hands. The new stand is smaller than the old one, though--I have empty wall space! O_O;; Must... fill... space!! *twitches*

I could fit another little bookshelf in there! XD

In other news, Full Moon wa Sagashite is quite cute and amusing, as is Psychic Academy. ^^ Psychic Academy episodes are only 10 minutes long, though. O_o Each ep includes a full theme-song intro, too (about 1.5 minutes long)... still, it's entertaining.

Trunks and I got Mom a copy of Troy for Mother's Day; it's a movie she really wanted, so why not? I still need to locate/buy a spiffy card for her, too, but that shouldn't take long. ^^ I'll probably do it tomorrow or the next day... Trunks may or may not come along. Normally I'm the one who picks the cards anyway, since he seems to have trouble with it. ^^;

Heehee. And I wore my FMA pocketwatch today when we went out to breakfast and to do groceries. Nothing big, but I was still very happy to be able to pull it out to check the time--which I'll admit I did a couple more times than I needed to. Ahahaha! ^_^;;

Aaaaaand... HAPPY ANNIVERSARY [livejournal.com profile] cassandracsenta!

"What?" You ask, "has Sena finally lost it?"

Why no! Today is the one-year anniversary of the first random scene I posted! ^_^ I think it was one from Eien no Yume ni Mukatte, when I was still writing that and we were squee-ing over Ren and Yuki... wow. Things have come so far since then! =^-^=

My sinus infection now seems to be migrating to my throat... possibly in an attempt to gain entry to my lungs, which I will not allow! As if I actually have much of a say in it...

Currently, my ears feel (sound?) like they're half-packed with cotton, I have a pounding headache, my nose is running, my throat is scratchy (but doesn't feel like someone took a rake to it anymore, thank the Gods!) and my lungs are starting to rattle again. I'm also on my second (HUGE) mug of tea, and I've only been awake and functioning for about forty-five minutes.

Yar Matey! Sena is a very sick pirate right about now!

Plus, I woke up this morning with my hands shaking... like, really shaking. Tremors in my hands that are making it very had to type, let me tell you.

Before anyone starts screaming "STROKE! STROKE!" and taping me to wheelbarrows to force take me to the emergency room, I'm not worried. Why? Because I've had a mysterious ailment for about four/five years now, and the tremors in my hands is one of the sypmtoms of it, along with nausea, (extreme) tiredness, dizziness and the occasional fainting spell. I missed a lot of the last couple of years of highschool because of it. And no, they've done every damn test under the sun, and still don't know what it is.

Anyway, the shaking today is just a little worse than normal. I'll live. It'll probably be gone by supper time anyway. ^_^;

In a completely unrelated note: I want my FMA pocketwatch! It was mailed about a week and a half ago, so I should be getting it any time now... every day I very hopefully check the mailbox, because I want it to get here so badly. ^.^;;

And another completely unrelated note? I plan to watch DVDs all day. Because I'm feeling sick. And because while I was out with Mom yesterday (we had another Chiropractor's appointment in the morning), we stopped at Zellers, and they were selling the first season of Buffy The Vampire Slayer for $29.98. >^-^;; The Troy DVD next to it (for one movie) was $30.98, so I snatched up my new BtVS fix and laughed all the way to the cash register... with a quick stop along the way to nab the copy of Dragon Fighter (WHOO for Dean Kain b-grade dragon-y fun! XD) that was staring at me from the discount bin.

Eheheheheh... XD *is addicted to media of pretty much any format*

My brother came over for an hour or so today, and brought a couple of his friends... that's fine. I get along okay with most of his friends now. We talked about misc. stuff, then watched one episode of FMA, so now there are more people addicted to it.

And while they were here, a tech from the cable company came by. I've been having some trouble with my Internet over the last week or so, and when I called on Tuesday, they said they'd send someone today. He poked around and changed a splitter that was malfunctioning, and went on his way. Hopefully that'll be the last of my Net problems.

.....

Yeah...

Incredible

senashenta: (Default)
Worrying about Tohma-chan aside and being lonely and annoyed at my brother yesterday, I've had a busy couple of days...

First of all, I've been dealing with appealing the decision on my UI claim the last week or so. I got a new note from my Doctor that details my problems and went down to the UI office a couple of days ago to hand it in and explain the problems I've had with my entire claim in general since way back in December when I filed it...

Yesterday, I got two letters from them; the first said "we have reviewed the decision that was made on your claim, and have decided to accept it" and the other was three cheques to cover the entire time that they stiffed me. One was for $834 and the other two were each for $278, so $1390 all together. Awesome.

So I hopped down to the bank to deposit them. I feel so much better now that I have some money in the bank... should last me two or three months, plus I've still got my tax money coming in as well. Whew.

On my way home from the bank, I stopped at a home store downtown to buy a present for my Mom. She's been helping me out so much the last few months, and has just been so supportive that I wanted to get her something to say thank you... not that anything could possibly express how much I appreciate her being there for me, but you know...

Anyway, for about three years she's been asking for new/decent mixing bowls for Christmas, and everyone keeps forgetting about them when it comes time to buy her gifts. So I went into this cute little kitchen/home store and bought her a really good set of bowls. They're stainless steel, dishwasher safe, and come with lids (it's hard to find mixing bowls with lids anymore). I mean, mixing bowls wouldn't seem like a huge thing to buy as a gift, but she was really really happy with them, so it makes me happy, too. ^^

And not that I can afford to buy too much stuff, since I'm still on a budget, but I decided I want to spend some money on myself, too. Since halfway through December, the only things I've bought for me were a copy of Alta and some Chinese food... oh, and I guess some cheap used DVDs last week.

So I bought myself one of these (and can't wait until it comes in! =3) and then a copy of The Incredibles. >^-^;; I also figure I'll probably end up picking up some more cheap movies from 'Round Again Records, maybe tomorrow or the next day. *addicted to movies*

Okay. The Incredibles is an awesome movie. I'm very glad I picked it up... I was kind of debating between it and a couple of others, and I definitely made the right decision. It made me giggle and laugh a lot. ^^

Then today, lo and behold, Trunks shows up at my door! =O

He tinkered with my computer and checked his email, and we talked for a bit, then I subjected him to the first two episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist, though I guess "subjected" isn't a good word because he loved it. He's coming back tomorrow, so that we can watch a couple more together. XD

The thing to know about when my brother and I sit to watch movies/TV shows/whatever together is that we chat while we watch. About lots of misc. stuff. In this case, we talked a lot about the logistics and science behind alchemy, which was interesting... and hard at the same time, since I was trying not to say anything that would give away the whole FMA series. ^^;

Then he told me he had to leave... because he had to go home and tape Passions. O_o; I laughed at him a lot for that. ^_^;; Then I told him I was just going to pretend I hadn't heard it. Though when he told me Alasse got him into watching Passions the first thing I thought of was Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. ^.^;;

Now I'm poking around with my writing, but not really getting anywhere because I'm fretting over Tohma-mousie at the same time. ;__;

...at least it's not raining anymore. It was pouring all morning, and I had to abandon Cassandra-san because of it. The power kept flickering and I was afraid my computer would get fried. Blegh. It stopped raining around noon, but now it's still pretty gloomy out.

Oh well...

Also, I need an FMA icon.

[livejournal.com profile] mavan has finished sending me the FMA episodes she has. And I will love her forever for it! >^-^< But now I need to find someone to beg episodes 31+ off of... hmmmmm~

So yesterday afternoon I looked out the window at the horrid wind, snow-slush-rain and general icky weather... and decided to go for a walk. ^_^; I just needed to get out of the house for a bit, I guess.

I ended up going downtown, with the general destination of the dollar store; the dollar store downtown ROCKS. It's an actual dollar store (ie: nothing costs more than a dollar), and carries everything from pet supplies to clothing to craft stuff. It also has a huge wall of "Canada" stuff, which is where I get a lot of the things I put into the P.O.S. parcels. >^-^;;

Right, so I'm walking downtown, getting slush-drizzled on, and pondering on a great many random things, when I happen to pass 'Round Again Records; by "happen" I mean that it's about three doors down from the dollar store and directly on the route to get there, so I pass it all the time.

This time, though, I decided to go in.

Don't really know why... the last time I was in there was about five years ago with C.A. (I believe). Anyway, 'Round Again Records buys/sells used CDs, as well as pointless merchandise from shows like Family Guy and comic books like Spawn. It's kind of a catch-all shop.

But dude. They sell used DVDs too! LOTS of used DVDs!

AND ANIME. XD

Why haven't I been shopping there? O_O;

So I ended up spending about $30 and buying a bunch of used DVDs, because I was perilously out of new movies to watch (I have hundreds of them, yes, but I tend to get bored with the same old ones all the time)... no anime, though, because they didn't have any used anime DVDs that I could find. ;__;

I ended up getting Insomnia, Fear Dot Com, The Village, Johnny English and Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker... all for about $30, like I said. I was a very happy Sena, needless to say, even if I was down thirty bucks.

Lesse... Fear Dot Com was... wierd. @_@; I may have to watch it again before I can form a really concrete oppinion on it. ^^;; The Village was awesome... M. Night Shyamalan's films always amaze me, because I can never tell what the endings are going to be. I'm pretty good at judging how a movie is going to end, but his always throw me. :P lol.

And then Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker... ah. Fun with the Joker and Tim Drake. ^^ I miss the Batman cartoons I watched when I was little, now... and I'm seriously considering picking up copies of some of the other movies, too. The Batman and Superman movie was awesome. XD

Now I'm going to go watch Insomnia...

I want one. *nods*

Mom picked me up this morning because we had a bunch of stuff we both had to do... okay. Most of it was mine. Odds and ends of errands and stuff that Mom was going with me to do because I don't drive. >^-^;;

Got some juice from the grocery store... then headed to Walmart to get some shavings for the degu/squirrel cage/terrarium. While I was at the pet section there I found a little wooden hollowed-out tree-branch accessory thingy that would be perfect for the mice, so I got it for them. They needed something to chew on anyway, since I hadn't gotten anything yet with that in mind.

I also planned to raid the after-Easter chocolate sales... but there were none! ;__; All the Easter stuff was gone already. Wow. It's Easter Monday--it's still Easter, and everything was gone!

Bah.

Then we went to the drug store so I could stock up on allery pills. =_=;; Damned freaking allergies...

At the drug store, though, I also got some Cadbury Mini Eggs, since they did have some Easter stuff on sale, and since I had accumulated enough points on my Shoppers card for $10 worth of stuff, I also got a DVD copy of Silence of the Lambs from their discount-DVD-rack. XD

After that, we headed to the mall, since Smart Set has a sale on suits going on right now and Mom needed some new suits for work. She found two, both of which I WANT. *_* One of them is silvery-grey, and the other is black with thin grey pinstripes on it.

Then to Zellers. Just because.

They were also selling all their Easter stuff cheaply, so I got a bunch of Cadbury Creme Eggs. >^.^< I just need my own Cadbury Bunny... you know the one that goes "bock bock bock" and lays Creme Eggs and Mini Eggs? Yeah... because I'm addicted to both of them...

Anyway, then we pretty much went home. ^^

And wheee! ^_^ I love [livejournal.com profile] mavan, who is sending me FMA episodes in my email. XD *is so addicted to that show now it's kind of rediculous* Note for Mavan here. )

Success!
