Well, got a roll of film back from being developed today, and I figure it's about time I paraded pics of my kitties and squirrels for all to see. >^-^< I love my babies...

Not the best pic. Blurry. But it captures Tri perfectly so I still like it. ^^

My squirrelies. ^^ Bedrock (lower) and Granite (upper). They're degus, which are south African ground squirrels. Among other things, they chirp and whistle (like birds) and love to cuddle with people (or the cats). They also live for an average of 10 years, which is a long lifespan for a rodent.

Tri loves Bedrock and Granite. ^^; They were put on this Earth just to entertain him. *nods* Also, note that each squirrel is about the side of his entire shrimpy head. ^_^;;

He often sleeps in the box next to their cage (and later tracks shavings all over the damn place for me to clean up... =_=;;)

Neko loves boxes, tra la la... >^-^;;; His name on his vet papers is "Osiris", but I started calling him "Neko" a while after his first vet visit, and the nickname just stuck. Now he only responds to "Neko" and just stares at you blankly if you call him "Osiris"... ^^;

This one gives you a bit of an idea of the size difference between my cats. ^^; Tri is less than half of Neko's size... Neko weighs in at 16.4 pounds, and Tri is just over 5. ^^;;

Tri can definitely fit places that Neko can't. ^_~ He uses this to his advantage when they're playing hide-and-seek or tag, as you can see. It was funny watching Neko try to squeeze under the dresser after him about ten seconds after I took this picture... XD

And Tri snoozing. He does it a lot. ^^
*huggles wonderful kitties and squirrelies*
I'm also considering getting a rat. I'd name him "Socrates". ^^
