I finished my first edit of Storm Season last night; it went faster than I thought it would, there weren't as many errors in it as there were in Horror High, THOUGH partway through one chapter I found a scene that I had STARTED to write and then never... finished. *FACEPALM* So, I had to finish that up. Now Storm Season's word count is 77,005 and it's page count is 168, which is actually mildly disappointing. I was so tickled when it came in at 167, the exact same as Horror High. But oh well. XD;;
Anyway, I'm going to leave it sit for a while and then do another once-over before I start posting it, just in case, but as of right now Storm Season is ready to go and I am working on When Lightning Strikes, Ghost In The Machine and Teeth today, because for some reason this morning I can't just focus on one. Seriously, I need an up in my ADHD meds. :|
I haven't seen Kaida in a couple days. I startled her two days ago when I was cleaning out her tank and she disappeared. I just hope she's okay, I would be devastated if she died. :( ...and literally JUST as I was typing this I looked over and she was out wandering around SO I GUESS SHE'S FINE. Also she's bigger already and I've only had her a week. Apparently axolotls grow FAST. In other news, she JUST came back out and today I have to clean her tank again like. I'M SORRY KAIDA. ;~;
I think I might need to take Castiel out of the aquarium and plant him in dirt again, he's not doing as well in the water as Dean and Sam are, although he's doing better-ish now that he's away from the cooling fan. I'm gonna give it a few more days and see how he continues to fair and then decide. If I do have to plant him in a pot, I'm going to have to go to the Dollarama and buy some potting soil and also... a pot to plant him in. I have run out of pots lol. But Dean is still THRIVING in the tank and even though Sam hasn't been in there nearly as long he seems to be doing pretty well too, so those two are okay at the very least. I'm still growing Jack into a proper-sized plant before I can add him, but he's a spider plant so he should do fine. I dunno, just... learning as I go. *shrug*
Only three more days until Mom and I go to the aquarium in Toronto and I am SO EXCITED. I freaking LOVE aquariums, the one in Baltimore was my JAM, and Mom has never BEEN to one before so I'm looking forward to seeing her reaction, too. I'm gonna take TONS of pics and buy one or two things at the gift shop because aquarium gift shops are always awesome. <3
My Medic Alert bracelet broke the other day, which is a pain but not the end of the world because I have all the tools to fix chains and stuff, and I fixed it last night but now I need someone to help me put it back on because it's a two-hand job and obviously I can't do it on my own lol, so I'm gonna ask Mom today if she can just clip it back on for me. Then I'll be all safe and sound again.
