Shopping Day

Yesterday was the first day of the month and therefore the day I go out to do my huge monthly shop.
Started out going to the pharmacy to settle my account there because I owed them $37 for my stupid Dayvigo from like two months ago and they were getting impatient. Then we drove to Barrie so I could get my specialty tea from the European Deli there... only for them to be like "we only have three in and all of them are lemon" which. Is the worst flavor. Boo. (I know, First World Problems.)
After that we drove all the way back to Orillia and first went to the bank (to withdraw my rent, more boo but also Roof Above My Head yay!), then to Costco where I SPENT ALMOST $200 ON MEDICATIONS BECAUSE THEY ALL RAN OUT AT
THE SAME TIME. *facepalm* I did also get bagels, though, and some cashews, and some pasta salad. It just really added up fast I was like "$173 HOLY SHIT LEMME TAKE A MINUTE."
Walmart was next for cat supplies and more meds that I couldn't get at Costco, and I also bought the ingredients for making my own trail mix, since 99.99% of all commercial trail mixes are LOADED with peanuts. :| Oh, and a couple of small binders for organizing papers. Then after Walmart we stopped at Petsmart long enough for me to get some crickees for Itsy (it's been a MONTH since they last had crickets, poor Itsy was SO hungry!)
Theeeeeen Shoppers to mail a birthday parcel for my Dad and my monthly postcards and buy coke before we popped in to Dr. K's office to nab some Trelegy inhalers they had been holding for me. AND WHICH I APPRECIATE BREATHING
IS SO VERY IMPORTANT. <3
I guess part of my shopping that was more self-indulgent was to go on ebay and order the first six seasons of American Horror Story on DVD. Because like. They are DIRT cheap. .__.;; I paid about $10 CAD per season. But that's my splurging for the month, I can't afford anymore. Now I'm just antsy for them to get here, lol, which they won't for at least 2-4 weeks yet. XD
Today I'm packing up half my room because tomorrow I have to empty and dismantle the (40 gallon) aquarium, since I have a new stand for it now. One of Mom's former co-workers is coming over to help us with getting it up the stairs and installing it but before that everything had to GET OUT THE WAY. And then after it's in I have to rush to put the aquarium back together again and fingers crossed that every single one of my fish doesn't die from shock.
THEN I can put my room back together again. FUN TIMES.
