Have an appointment with the chiropractor this morning, which means an hour drive out to Bracebridge and then an hour drive back... I don't really want to go, but given that I'm practically falling apart at the seams, I really do need to see him. ^^;;

Made 60 more Smiley Cookies last night. Yup. Need to remember to take my camera in to work tonight, to get Kelly to take pictures of me at work/in my uniform/making Smiley Cookies/etc. to include in the P.O.S.s that I really do need to finish up and mail...

And last night while I was baking, I was pondering my writing in general (fanfiction and original, just thinking about stuff) and thinking that it might be a good idea to find someone to beta read for me before I post fics at FF.Net. No one's really complained all that much about grammar/spelling/typos in my fics, but it actually does bother me a bit, so I'm wondering if I could goad someone into being an editor for me...

Anyone want the job? Pretty much relating to Valdemar fics, since I don't write much else anymore. ^_^;;;

*shrugs*

Whatever...

Three day week this week. Good, too, 'cause I'm tired. So only two more nights, and then I get three days off... can't really remember why I've got the extra day. |_|;; Should I even be questioning it?

Need to pack more while I'm on my weekend... and call C.A./Pam/Steve... and probably sit down and write a huge rambling email to Andy that basically boils down to why the hell don't you email/call/come visit me anymore? HMMM? >^-^;; He'll be like: =_=;;;

*gigglesnort* Andy's a busy guy, so I understand. I just like to bug him. XD

I'm quite tired, even though I'm just finishing my weekend. *shrugs* Guess I didn't get enough sleep over the last two days... whatever. I've only got a three-day week this week, so I can deal.

I wonder if I have to make Smiley Cookies tonight again...

Mah. Also, Tri has a lot of eye gunk. XP Every time he sleeps, he seems to accumulate it... I clean him up once a day. It's not really bad, it's just a lot more than I'm used to with Neko. *shrugs* I'll ask the vet to have a peek in a month when I take him in for his rabies shot. ^^

Hell yeah!

So Mom and I took Neko and Tri to the vet yesterday, which wasn't as problematic as I thought it was going to be; normally, Neko freaks out when we take him to the vet. he hates going. Hates his carrier, hates the car ride, (hates being out of the house at all), hates the vet's office, hates the vet himself. ^^;

But Tri was there this time, and Tri didn't have a problem with it at all--he didn't even blink an eye at all while Dr. Booth was poking at him and giving him his shots, and the fact that Tri was so calm seemed to help Neko stay relatively calm to. >^-^< They're so good for each other...

Anyway, so on the way to the appointment, we scooted through a Tim Horton's drive thru so Mom could get a coffee (not the Tim's I work at, but the one that's at the corner by the vet's office) and it turns out that yesterday was the start of the Smile Cookie promo.

Basically, that means that we're selling "Smile" cookies for this week; Smile cookies being HUGE-ASS chocolate chip cookies with icing smiley-faces painted on them. The entire promo is a charity event that the Tim Horton's franchise runs every year in September--we sell Smile cookies for a dollar each, and all the proceeds go to a local cause. In the case of my home town this year, it's going to the hospital.

So we went though the drive thru and they asked if we wanted to buy a Smile cookie for the hospital, so I said sure... and enjoyed that cookie immensely, but that's not the point of this ramble.

I was munching on my cookie, and suddenly realized: CRAP! THIS MEANS I HAVE TO BAKE THESE STUPID COOKIES, TOO! ARGH!!

And I was not looking forward to baking huge chocolate chip cookies and then spending who-knows-how-long painting stupid smiles on them... I went in to work last night just dreading doing my cookie bake.

But you know what?

I actually liked doing the Smile cookies. ^^ There was something very therapudic about spending half an hour in the kitchen by myself, listening to music and painting bright blue-and-pink Smiley faces on cookies. >^-^<

Don't really know why, but doing it just made me want to smile along... ^^ Maaa... last night was a pretty good night.

THANK YOU SMILEY-COOKIES! ^__^
