I Have No Title For This Entry
Feb. 19th, 2007 01:47 pmAlrighty, so last night I got Yuki!pony and Kyou!pony about 75% done; Yuki needs to have his mane rerooted, and a couple of little painting details finished (I still need to do one of his eyes, lol), and he'll be done. Kyou!pony is pretty much finished as well, but needs to be rehaired-- and I have to wait to do that. -.-;
A while ago I picked up some hair from custompony.com to see how well it'd work, and among it was the orange I planned to use for Kyou... but it turned out to be nylon crap that won't style like at all, and I hate it, so I had to order some orange katsilk for him. It'll be in in a couple of days, but until then Kyou is bald. Poor, poor Kyou. :(
But I'll finish Yuki up in the mean time, and get started on a couple others. I think maybe Kisa and Hiro next.
Today has been busy so far; Mom and I had an appointment with the Chiropractor (who hadn't seen me since I fell down the stairs two weeks ago, and informed me that it wasn't a really great sport to get involved in, lol), and then when we got back to town we stopped at Walmart so that I could get some beads.
I picked up some white and red beads a few days ago to do Kyou!pony's bracelet, but now that I'm looking at them, they're too big (6mm), so I picked up some smaller ones (4mm) that'll look more in-proportion with the pony. ^^
Then we came back to her place and I started my laundry, and printed out my Artist Alley registration form and filled it out so that I can mail it off later today, along with the cheque. FWEE.
Mom also went through my taxes with me, so that's done and I'll be mailing it later today as well; I'm getting just over $300 back from the government. Not much, but every penny is helpful, and it's much better than having to pay, right? So I'm pretty much happy.
Then, in about half an hour, we have to take Loki back to the vet's, since it's been a week and he needs to have his ears looked at again. With the cone collar on he hasn't been able to scratch, so the scabs and bruises have healed up, but he still seems itchy. I hope we can figure out what's going on...
AAAAAND~ tonight Mom's taking me, my brother and my step-dad out for dinner. It's been forever since the four of us went out for a meal together. (Since it's practically impossible to catch Trunks around dinner time. >>;) We're going out to the Casino to eat at either the steakhouse or the italian place. Trunks and I were both like "let's go to the NOODLE BAR!" but we got shot down. XDD;;
Now I need to go pray over the clothes dryer that my coat is dry by the time we have to leave for the vet, since it's freaking freezing out and I don't want to venture outside in wet clothing. >>;
OH.
But I wanted to ask. I've been meditating on how much I should charge for my ponies at Anime North. They normally go for about $40 + $5 for shipping online, and Mom thinks I should charge that ($45 Canadian) at the con as well... do you think they'd sell at $45 dollars, or is that too much? It's the normal price for one of my ponies, but I don't want to set the cost too high and then have no one want to buy them...
Let me know what you think? Love and stuff to everyone who does~ =3
EDIT: So the vet says Loki's ears look much better, and I can leave the cone collar off of him for a while to see what happens. She still can't find any reason for him to be itchy like that, but if he starts scratching again I'm supposed to put the collar back on and bring him back in.
