senashenta | Where To Start (After So Long)

It's been so long I don't even really know where to begin. My life is so different than it used to be, and not in good ways. Basically everything has been an absolute shit show, especially the last few months. And I want to talk about that here, but I feel like I should ease into it and not just drop all the heavy shit at once.

So I'm going to start easy and talk about my dolls; I dabbled in BJDs a few years ago with Tetsuya and Nazoko but I ended up having to sell them because I ran into a financial SNAFU and they were worth like $500 each. And I never thought I'd be able to get into BJDs again but then about seven months ago an ex-friend of mine bought me one, and when I got looking around I found out that BJD pricing has dropped SIGNIFICANTLY in the meantime.

That started me collecting again, and now I own 17 of them (some strung and some not; I prefer the strung ones), two of which were gifts from that ex-friend, with three more ordered and on their way to me some time in the next six weeks.

There are two problems with collecting dolls when you are living in just a bedroom. 1) I HAVE NO ROOM FOR THEM WHY DO I KEEP BUYING MORE?? and 2) I had a lot more money before I started collecting them and buying all the clothes and stuff for them lol. But I enjoy them (mostly, the ones from my ex-friend are... complicated :|) and I'm managing to pay my bills and take care of my cats and everything so I guess it's okay.

Maybe I'll do entries with pics and profiles of each of them over the next while...
