A Learning Experience

What I'm rapidly learning through this whole I Was Mauled By A Cat experience is that I have no coordination with my left hand. ^_^; lol.

I'm right handed, and that's the hand that Fritz shredded; I'm chewed all to hell, swollen, and very very sore. When I stand/walk, I have to hold my hand up, because if it hangs by my side it just THROBS. Anyway, because of the nature/placement of my injuries, I can't use my thumb for pretty much anything-- so I can't grip stuff. Which is why I need to use my left hand.

But I totally suck at doing stuff with that hand. Ahaha. ^^;







You can probably see where the antiseptic/non-stick padding is underneath the gauze... but the pad isn't that thick. Most of what looks like "thickness" there is because my hand is swollen all to shit. I've finally stopped bleeding, too! But the big hole is still oozing clear stuff, which I can never remember the actual name for. ..

At least I can still type! Though I can't do much else, including using the TV remote control... :P

And to top it all off, I'm cooking a turkey today! XD We'll see how that goes!

clear stuff, which I can never remember the actual name for. ..

Serum ^_^;; Last time I got chewed on by a cat it took ages for the wounds to scab over properly. I think it's because cats have such daftly huge amounts of bacteria in their mouths; your body just goes the fuck?! I'm not clotting that in here with me!!

Blegh, the whole area is looking pretty bad right now, though... if it isn't a bit better by tomorrow I'll have to go back to the hospital. :P
