I started taking my new ADHD meds around six weeks ago, and for the first couple of weeks there was a lot of... adjusting, to my New Brain and how it works. But once I got the hang on it, things just CLICKED. In the last month I've written 150+ pages and I have NEVER been this productive in my LIFE, not even back during my Valdemar hayday, or when I was writing Biology and it's side-fics.

It's very surreal and I keep having to check my page count just to remind myself that it's real. But it's also like stretching a muscle that I'm not used to using, sometimes I get a headache, and nearly every day I wake up two hours before my alarm because my brain wants to be awake and writing, not sleeping, so I'm very tired lately.

I'm not complaining. It feels SO GOOD to get my creativity out this way after years of difficult struggles with it. But I do kind of wish my New Brain would let me sleep. Sleep is important. Eventually I'm going to break down if I continue not getting enough sleep. But still, every morning I wake up bleary and within fifteen minutes I'm banging away at the keyboard, typing pages and pages and pages.

New Brain likes to write in the morning more than any other time of the day, hence it waking me up, but I still write throughout the day as well, the productivity just peters out over the hours until by 10pm I'm 90% watching movies/TV and only 10% writing. But even then I'm STILL WRITING.

I said before that, after Horror High, Cheap Motel and Counting Scars, I'm going to take a break before writing Storm Season and try to write one of my original novels, see if the productivity transfers over from the SPN fanworks. But before I hadn't decided which novel I was going to work on-- I have now. Despite everything, I'm going to go back to working on TKA.

Today I even wrote the official opening paragraph for it, I FINALLY figured out how to do it. I think it might work out, though it might be a little hard at times.
