Cute Aminals

One of Sarah's friends has a cat that just had kittens yesterday... and I think I'm going to adopt one when they're old enough. OMGSQUEEKITTEN! X3

It shall be named Loki! I decided on the name for my next kitty way back when I adopted Tri. ^_^;

And aw dangit. -_-;; Pauper ( taught Phoenix to climb, too! )

...I actually don't mind as much as I say I do. ^_~ I think it's kind of cute, actually. The only thing is that every time they figure out something new they can climb on, I have to reorganize my stuff to bunny-proof again. Mostly just with books and wires, though. :)

And Pauper likes my pan pipes, so she tends to pull them down off the shelves whenever she remembers they're there. Oh well. No big deal~

Yet Another Disappointment

So...

Ever since early February I've been working on anime ponies with the intent to have an Artist Alley table at Anime North and sell them there; I checked on the AN website way back when I decided to do this, and the way to reserve a table is to get a weekend convention pass-- confirmation of your enrollment is mailed to your inbox when they process it. Then you forward the confirmation email to the people who are running Artist Alley, mail payment, and they sign you up for a space.

Basically: you have to mail registration/payment for the convention itself, and then mail payment for the Alley sepparately. Stupid, huh?

Anyway, Mom and I sent in our registration papers and money for the convention passes just over a month ago, and they just got back to us about it yesterday, so today I went to forward it to Artist Alley to book a table... only to be told that I can't, because registration for the Alley is closed.

So all the planning and work for the last two-and-a-bit months have just been completely blown out of the water.

I know it's stupid that something like this would have such an affect on me, but this is the only thing I've been really excited about or looking forward to in over a year, and to have it suddenly just taken away from me like this... it's very hard on me. I spent a while very upset and crying when I first found out, and now I'm just... blank. I'm nothing. I'm empty.
