senashentaMy step-dad is going in for surgery on Thursday. O_O;
Mom told me that when they came by yesterday to pick Sarah and I up to go do groceries (it's a family outing for us!), and I was like "uh... what for?" To which she replied "his hurnia" (or however you spell it). He's had two surgeries in regards to that before, and it'll be okay for a year or two and then get worse again...
Maaaaaa... I know he'll be okay, but I still worry. ^^;;;
Random note: I'm seriously considering renaming my LJ "Accident Report"... for somewhat obvious reasons.
Random note #2: Whilst at work last night, I found myself suddenly overcome with a very strong urge to write a CSI/The X-Files crossover. O_o; I don't know where that came from, either...
And finally, I've been kicking around ideas for the birthday ficcy I'm writing for![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
kierseth, and have decided it's going to be angsty (as opposed to dryly sarcastic, which was the other thing she would have liked) and take place in the same AU as the fic (Reality) I wrote for etcetera_cat's birthday back in August.
It's tentatively titled "Sightless", and watch me be creative and ironic with names! *drum roll HERE* The main characters are named Annai and Forenigh.
