Okay. I've gotten a bunch of reviews for Pilot, most of which are the usual stuff. Yay! Good Job! And all that... and Rosethorn was once again overly enthusiastic about Zach in general. ^^;;

But then I've also gotten a couple that went along the lines of this one:

Reviewer: Spots On A Pony
Review: A good start here if you are thinking about continuing. However, in Valdemar there are no televisions, video games, computers or aluminum cans. Gifted mind healers rather than councilors or psychiatrists. No colleges that offered degrees. Make those changes and you'll have something that would fit right in ML's Valdemar universe.

Because obviously I'm a complete dimwit and didn't realize that to begin with. *ROLLS EYES*

Does everything in the M. Lackey section have to take place during one of her books? I mean jeez...

It ticks me off a bit. =_=;;

EDIT: I made my name-jar! ...okay, it's more of a box. Whatever. And on my first pull I got... Tsuko and Iruma. ^_^;; Ahaha... let me think on that...

Also, am considering making another name-box for my Valdemar characters and writing a couple of scenes like that, too. ^^

*giggles* That sounds interesting.^^

Tsuko: *blinks slowly*

Iruma: *staring blankly*

Tsuko gets along well with Hisa. Tsuko was the one who found Hisa actually so...For all we know, Tsuko might just be Iruma's godmother or something...^^;;

I kind of stared blankly at the little pieces of cardboard for a while. ^^;;

I wonder what they could be doing...

Hm...Maybe for one day Tsuko has babysitting duty for Iruma.^^;

Oh God. ^^;;; That would be interesting...

*gigglesnort* I can imagine Tsuko and Iruma just staring at each other and Kuroi watching them, sweatdropping.^^;;

*giggles* That's actually pretty much what I pictured, too. It's quite an amuzing little mental image, here...

Kuroi would then cough and excuse himself, seeing as he'd have no use there since they seem to get along all right.^^ *giggles* Then they start talking maybe? "...So what do you want to do?" "...I don't know..." "TV? Eat? Anything?" "...Whatever..."

Yeah. Tsuko and Iruma both pretty much tolerate anything and everything, don't they? They're so alike in some ways... ^^;;

Did they not read the 'far future/AU' part of you disclaimer?

... -_-;;

D'y'know?! Some people!

Exactly.

That one in particular bothered me because it basically boiled down to "change everything except for the names and then it'll be fine!"

Luckily, the good reviews by people who take the time to read the disclaimer/notes far outnumber the ones like that, or I'd be having some serious seizures right about now. ^^;

Hoo boy. Some reviewers... Idiots. Can't see past the little things that Don't Agree With How They See The World. The fictional world, too.
...Okay, I'm bitter.
So glad I never got any reviews like that for my modern-day Legend of Zelda fic.

Bah. I guess that's what I get for delving into the AU/future/modern-day type aspect of fanfiction. *shrugs* Whatever. I have way too much fun with it to stop just because some people can't be bothered to read the disclaimers/notes. >^-^;;

Modern-day Legend of Zelda... *ears perk* Where might I find that, may I ask? ^^

The modern day LoZ fic's called 'Generations'. It's been on hold for a long time - writer's block and other projects on the go - but it's on ff.net if you want it - check my user info for my ff.net profile. It's part four in a series so might be a bit confusing, but take a look!
