Did you know you can buy bait (for fishing, etc.) out of vending machines now? ^^;; Ahahaha...

Ryuu-chan needed a break from driving, so we stopped in Bellville for a bit. ^^ They had a Chapters! I am now the proud owner of a Family Medical Encyclopedia and a Portuguese Dictionary.
Am quite pleased. ^^

Weather: Cloudy/rainy

Music: Orikasa Ai ~ "Brave Eyes"
I think we've decided to bypass Montreal and stop there on the way back instead. Or I could be wrong--Ryuu-chan and Dake-san might have decided otherwise whilst I was dozing.
Mlargh. Not liking having to turn my sleeping patterns around, by the way. =_=;;
Also... SUCCESS! Got Dake-san to load film into my camera for me!! (I've had it for two years and still can't do that by myself! ^^;;;)
...and why didn't I bring my French dictionary?!

I crashed in the van last night because I'm not entirely comfortable with the idea of sleeping in a tent with people. It's my proximity-phobia kicking in again, I guess.
We found a camp site ar around 9:30 last night, just the other side of Hull. I think today we're going to aim for getting the hell out of Quebec; the roads are terrible and confusing here. ^^;;
Also, I find myself missing my computer already. ;__; *sniffle*
Yes, if you read through my notebook, there are little hand-drawn emoticons and actions in *asterixes*!
1:59 pm
Weather: Blindingly sunny

We just passed through the french fry capital of the world. Go us!!
Drove past the McCain plant, and Dake-kun noted that it wasn't shaped like a ketchup bottle. ^^;;
That wouldn't be very efficient, I don't think... XD
Earlier, when we passed from Quebec to New Brunswick, I wanted to dance. ^^ Instead, we changed the CD selection and listened to Great Big Sea, which was very NB-y, even though they're from Newfoundland.
Later, we plan to stop in Fredricton to buy some groceries and see about finding a public computer so I can email Mom and Dad and post to my LJ.
I miss my computer!! ;__;
I think I'm going to drag Ryuu-chan and Dake-kun into a few stores while we're there, too, to look for souvenirs for people back home.
This is about where I started referring to Dake as "Dake-kun" instead of "Dake-san". Also, as a random note, Great Big Sea is from Newfoundland, and that's the only one of the Atlantic Provinces that we didn't visit. ^^;
6:52 pm
Weather: Warm
Mood: Overheated
Music: Farmer's Daughter ~ "Borderline Angel"
So in Fredricton we drove around for a while trying to find the city hall/tourist information center. Once we located it, we went to the YMCA to use the computers there.
It cost me $3 (I paid for all three of us) for 1/2 hour, but I emailed my parents and posted a quick note in my Livejournal.
The Havens know if Mom will check her email any time soon, but my part is done. ^_^;;
Also replied to a couple of comments that Cassandra-san left in my LJ... maa. I'm going to miss our forums!
...and on that note, I believe I'll go work on some scenes while we drive. ^^
8:50 pm
Found a spot to camp for the night, and it's infinitely better than the place we stayed yesterday. Ryuu-chan says it's called "Lakeshore... something." *giggles*
So we're making maceroni for supper while Dake-kun fixes up a fire for us (with hand tips from Ryuu-chan, of course). Then I guess we'll roast some marshmallows and go to bed. ^^
I love camping.
10:03 pm
Weather: Cold

Much as I adore camping, I miss being at home right now. ;__; It's getting cold and I'm kind of tired of this already... I wanna' be at home in bed, or in front of my computer.
Must be in one of my down swings...
Hopefully I'll feel better again after I get some sleep.

AUGUST 10th, 9:08am
Weather: Sunny & cool
Mood: Calm
Music: Martina McBride ~ "Concrete Angel"
I do feel a bit better this morning, thankfully... though I could do without the bugs that go along with camping.
Mosquitoes are not my friends. =_=;;
I've got everything pretty much packed up, but I still have to deal with Ryuu-chan's inflatable-sleeping-roll-thing and take my tent down. I also have to go have a shower, but that has to wait, as my towels are in the van and so is Dake-kun. ^^;; He slept there last night for some reason...
And on a completely random note, my allergies SUCK out here. =_=;;
11:02 am
Weather: Pleasant
Mood: Frustrated
Music: Rob Dougan ~ "Furious Angels"
Today we're heading to the Bay of Fundy, and we're going to stay there for a couple of days, I guess. Ryuu-chan and Dake-kun kind of decided that without me. =_=;; But it's okay 'cause there are quite a few things I want to do there...
Before we packed up and left, we tried to decide on an itinerary for the rest of the trip, and had someone questionable success. ^^;;
A lot of the things I want to do are being left out, which annoys me a little. And Dake-kun wants to spend two days in P.E.I.--why? What is there to see on P.E.I.?
Bah...
1:54 pm
Weather: Sunny
Mood: Depressed
Music: Chely Wright ~ "Jezebel"
The Bay of Fundy is amazing and beautiful... and I absolutely hate being here already.
Basically, Ryuu-chan and Dake-kun want to hike. And hike. And hike some more. And with my asthma and how bad it's been this summer, I can't do it.
Now, Ryuu-chan is willing to do the events that I want to do, too--seminars, interactive stuff, kayaking, etc., but Dake-kun wants NO PART os it. He just wants to bloody HIKE, which leaves me... what?
Sitting in the van, writing this, crying a little bit and wishing (once again) that I hadn't come at all.
I should be at home right now, playing on the computer and relaxing.
...mad world indeed.
7:50 pm
Weather: Cool
Mood: Calm
Music: -none-
After Ryuu-chan and Dake-kun went out on their hike, I convinced them to drive into down with me.
Alma reminded me a lot of Baysville. ^^ Only one or two streets, and just a general store for groceries, etc.
We went for milk and chips, and then got ice cream (I got Raspberry Cheeze Cake! XD)
After that, we headed down to the beach and walked around the sand bars while the tide was low, which was cool. I picked up some neat rocks and shells there, too. When we headed back in from the sand bars, Ryuu-chan and I got stuck in about four inches of mud. ^^;; And we both got pretty dirty getting out...
Heh.
Then we went into a cute souvenir shop and I spent about $60 on nicknacks for Michelle, Ruthie and Linda (from work) and -cat, Sethi and 'Vandi. ^^
I'm going back tomorrow to shop for others, too. >^-^<
9:30 pm
Weather: COLD!
Mood: Tired
Music: Evanescence ~ "My Immortal"
I almost forgot! Earlier, after we went souvenir shopping, we stopped at Herring's Cove on the way back to our camp site, and Dake-kun was tired so he kind of just flopped on the ground while Ryuu-chan and I went to look around.
Then we we got back we joined him. ^^
We just laid around on the grass and soaked up the sun/warmth/quiet. It's the most relaxed I've felt in a long time...
Anyway, at supper, Ryuu-chan was talking about the foldable chairs she brought with us from home for camping:
Ryuu: We have two kinds, you know, the ones with legs, and the ones without them...
Sena: .....
Dake: .....
Sena: ...ones without legs?
Dake: .....
Sena: Those are BLANKETS, Ryuu-chan! XD
She meant the extra legs that fold out for your own legs to rest on, like a recliner. But it was funny anyway. ^_~

AUGUST 11TH, 7:25 am
Weather: Sunny & cold
Mood: Thoughtful
Music: Martina McBride ~ "Concrete Angel"
Since the Bay of Fundy national part has a "one tent per camping space" rule (which most people don't pay attention to anyway, apparently) I crashed in the van again last night.
*shrugness* Tis' okay with me!
And speaking of the van! ^^; Yesterday while Ryuu-chan and I made dinner, Dake-kun had a nap in the van for a bit. So Ryuu-chan and I are sitting by the stove, and the back gates to the van were open so we could dig out whatever we needed as we needed it.
All day there was this cheeky little squirrel that was poking around the camp, and so we watched him go over to investigate the van.
He sniffed around. He stood up on his hind legs... and then he hopped in. O_o;;
The two of us were like "aw, crap", and had to chase him out--but I couldn't help but think how funny it would have been if Dake-kun had woken up to a squirrel sitting on his chest. XD
11:45 am
Weather: Warm
Mood: Amused
Music: -none-
Racoons got into our stuff last night; they took the rice, bread, hotdogs and pancake mix (of all things). Ryuu-chan was also missing when we got up, so for a while we were opperating under the assumption that they took her, too.
Then she came back from her walk, and out rescue plans were nixed.
2:50 pm
Weather: Windy & warm
Mood: Contented
Music: -none-
Ryuu-chan and I went into Alma again to do some laundry. While we were waiting, I bought some more souvenirs for people. ^^
Later tonight there's a meteor shower we're going to watch.
6:25 pm
Weather: Windy
Mood: Calm:
Music: -none-
Ryuu-chan and Dake-kun wanted to hike one of the costal trails up to the falls, but I can't do it--again, asthma.
So once again I find myself sitting in the van and waiting for them. =_=;
I'm not so upset about it today, though... it's a comfy temperature here and windy enough to keep the bugs away. ^^;
So I'm listening to music and I think I might work on a Rai-and-Suzuki scene I started yesterday.
>^-^<
I have two others in my head, too. Hmm...
11:25 pm
Weather: Cloudy
Mood: Meh.
Music: Linkin Park ~ "My December"
So the meteor shower is pretty much a no-go, as it's cloudy and probably we wouldn't see anything.
Whatever. I don't feel like sitting outside and being bug-chow anyway.
In other news, I finished the first Rai-Suzuki scene while I was waiting for Ryuu-chan and Dake-kun today, and started the second...
...which is about the closest thing to a lemon I've ever written. ^^;;; Ahahaha...
To HALIFAX tomorrow!!
Where I hope to find an Interner café and go horseback riding!
Whoo!

Today we're leaving the Bay of Fundy and heading to Halifax. ^^ Halifax is one of the places I'm really looking forward to seeing... assuming that Dake-kun and Ryuu-chan don't just arbotrarily decide to drive through without stopping.
...seriously... I just seem to be along for the ride. Most of what I'm interested in is being bypassed completely, and we're spending extra time doing things I couldn't care less about.
I'm still having fun... sort of, but it's starting to get annoying.
Meh...
8:20 am
On the way out of the Bay of Fundy Park, we saw a procupine. Funny looking thing. Dake-kun got out of the car to take a picture of it (he has a preoccupation with wildlife) but by the time he got his camera out and ready, it was gone.
Then we make a quick stop in Alma to buy chocolate milk (YUM!) and I took some pictures of High Tide, since all the ones I took before were during Low Tide.
Something that really annoyed me... the entire time we were out there, Ryuu-chan and Dake-kun kept calling the Bay of Fundy the "Bay of Funday" with the word ending in "day" instead of just "ee". It was annoying as hell. =_=;;
1:36 pm
Weather: Hot
Mood: Tired
Music: -none-
Earlier, we stopped at Magnetic Hill, and Ryuu-chan and I went to the zoo there. ^^
It was fun 'cause I haven't been to a zoo in about ten years... though it was very very hot out, so most of the animals were just sitting/laying around and looking horribly overheated.
Once we were done at the zoo, we were going to see Magnetic Hill itself, but the others decided they didn't want to, so yet again we skipped over something I wanted to do...
2:43 pm
Weather: Hot & sunny

We're now in Nova Scotia! ^__^
Our very first stop in this province yielded an Internet access computer... but it glitched and wouldn't let me into my email. =_=;; Grr...
9:34 pm
Weather: Muggy
Mood: Tired

At the visitors center here in Halifax we picked up a bunch of broshures (including one for horseback riding!) and I got to check my email... emailed Mom and Dad, and posted one line in my LJ.
But! Cassandra-san had posted an ADORABE scene in her LJ, and I couldn't print anything at the visitor's centre, so we hied off to a local Internet café so I could do so. ^^
After that, we went to a resteraunt called "The Little Fish" where I had a $45 plate of Thermidor Lobster (I promised Mom I'd have it while I was here) and giggled over Dake-kun's use of the obster-cracker-thing.
Later, we went to a mall and I bought an Italian dictionary and a present/souvenir for -cat, then we went to a little gift shot and I bought some more little nicknacks, as well.
Tonight we're actually staying at Dalhousie University, which means an ACTUAL BED!!
*dies of happiness*
Horseback riding tomorrow! XD

Called Mom last night to say hello. ^^ Tried to call Dad, too, but got no answer. He and Lois were probably sleeping already... will verily try again!
It's not eight in the morning but I don't wanna' get up... I wanna' sleep in for once on my "vacation"! XP
2:09 pm

Just finished an hour-long trail ride! >^__^< AM VERY HAPPY!
The funny thing is that while I can remember Ryuu-chan's horse's name (Casper) and Dake-kun's horse's name (Tom), I can't for the life of me remember my horse's name... ^^;;;
Go figure...
Took lots of pictures to make Mom jealous. Muahahahahaha!!
Am tired. Probably sunburnt, smell like horse, and have helmet-hair-from-hel, but I couldn't be happier!
Should've asked if they were hiring...
Oh my God. One of the other horses (not mine, which I am almost tempted to say was named "Riley" or something similar...) was a reddish-brown color, tall, thin, very handsome, and named "Striker". I giggled over that in my head for a while. ^_~ Probably only Cassandra-san will understand that...

Found a cute little camping ground to spend the night, and once more I've decided to sleep in the van. Over dinner, it came out that both Ryuu-chan and I are very disappointed with this entire trip in general; basically, we're doing all the same things as we can do back home, only it's costing us a lot more.
So we might be heading home early, which is fine with me. I want to go home A.S.A.P.
On a completely different note, my brain seems to be riddled with Rai/Suzuki scenes lately, and about half of them are ecchi as hell. ^^;;;

No shower for me today--because the showers where we stayed last night were coin-opperated and took loonies (dollars), and whilst I had tons of quarters and twonies (two dollar coins), I have no loonies whatsoever.
Mlarg... =_=;;
Also, my knee is KILLING me, which is an injury/strain from yesterday when we went horseback riding. My left stirrup was twisted forward and sideways, so my foot kept slipping out--thusly, I spent the entire rise with my leg/knee twisted the same way as the stirrup, trying to get my foot back in... and it didn't hurt yesterday, but it sure as hell does today.
Also, I'm developing a serious flaring up in the tendonitis in my writing hand (right) from all the handwriting I've been doing over the course of this trip.
Must get back to my computer soon!
5:55 pm
Weather: Cloudy

This afternoon we went on a tour of the Bird Islands and I think it was my favorite part of the entire trip so far. ^^
We saw about fifteen kinds of birds, including Bald Eagles and Great Blue Herons. We also saw Grey Seals and (one) Harp Seal, too. Lots of them... lots of Grey Seals, anyway. They followed our boat for a while.
Now we're on our way to P.E.I.... where we may be doing some whale watching--I say "may" because I'm almost broke. I've got about $72 in the bank and another $40 in my waller and that's it.
=_=;;
Tried to call Dad today, but no answer again... maaa... and I need to give Mom a ring again, too.
Yup.

I keep dreaming CSI episodes. ...no really! Except that they're all mushed together from more than one episode, and with other shows mixed in just for the heck of it; Crossing Jordan and etc.
Must be going through withdrawls...
Called Dad last night and said hi. He freaked out a bit when he found out Dake-kun is a guy. =_=;;; C'mon Dad, I'm twenty years old...
Heading out to P.E.I. today... I have NO FREAKING IDEA what we'll be doing there, but we're going anyway. *shrugness* Guess I can at least say I've been there now...

We're on P.E.I. now.
There is fsking nothing to do here! Despite this, we're staying the night and probably for a good chunk of tomorrow, too. =_=;;
I want to go home, damnit!
Not feeling very well, either. Was feeling sick all day today as well as last night...
And I've decided that Dake-kun, while amusing at times, is possibly the most annoying person on Earth. He's like my brother only TWICE AS BAD! O_O;;
Every time he talks I want to snap at him.
Damnitall... >_<;;

We went to the Ripley's Believe It Or Not museum, which was cool. That was around 10 this morning, and after that we ended up at a seaside-pier-shopping-type-place. It was really rather nice... but neither Ryuu-chan nor Dake-kun is really a "shopping" person, so we weren't there for long.
While we were there, though, Ryuu-chan and I went into a little resteraunt for lunch, and for $3.50 I got a HUGE ASS plate of fries and a bottle of Raspberry Cordial, which tastes much like gingerale with raspberry flavor added.
We need more resteraunts like that. ^^
So, souvenir shopping for everyone is now DONE! *touchdown dance*
Now we're heading down the highway in New Brunswick again, and I guess out next stop is Shediac.
GIANT LOBSTER AHOY!
Lost of stuff to lend to Ryuu-chan when we get home:

So Ryuu-chan figures we'll make it to Quebec today... whether she means Quebec city or just the province remains unclear.
The place we stayed last night was nice, but I've come to the conclusion that people out here don't know what "camping" is.
You can't camp within the city limits, with no trees around you, on the equivallent of someone's front/back yard/lawn!
But at least this way there's bathrooms and showers available most places. ^^;;;
An on a completely unrelated subject, I think the started scenes count on this trip is around eight, while the finished scene count remains at a steady two...

We're definitely in Quebec! ^^;;
We stopped for gas and it was my turn to pay, so I went in to do so and the cashier DIDN'T SPEAK A LICK OF ENGLISH.
A lot of strange pantomiming ensues, and the gas was paid for! Success!! XD
And on the way out I got to demonstrate my dazzling knowledge of the French language; "merci!"

By all rights, we should be getting home tomorrow... if it wasn't for Ryuu-chan feeling the need to spend an entire Gods-damned day visiting one of her friends.
Now, I can understand her wanting to visit her friend, but why can't she bloody do it when Dake-kun and I aren't around to just stand there while she visits?
I mean, please! Just for once on this trip, try doing something I want!
JUST DRIVE HOME!!

So we spent four hours today sitting around chatting with Ryuu-chan's friend, Nick, and though he seemed nice enough I didn't know him, so four hours was a bit excessive. =_=;;;
Now we're at her Grandpa's place, watching Jeparody (one of the categories is "Dinosaurs"!) and awaiting dinner, which Mr. Brown is very curteously supplying. ^^
This house his hige and sountry-house-y. >^-^< It smells old and comforting, and kind of reminds me of Dad and Lois's place, but a lot bigger. ^_~
The last entry was yesterday, and today wasn't all that exciting...
We got up and drove right to Toronto to drop Dake-kun off (he lives there) and then skipped on to visit Dad and Lois, since they live just outside of Toronto. ^^ I dropped off their souvenirs/gifts and we visited for a bit.
And I am totally adopting one of the cats there. Again.
He's grey-and-white patched, with AMAZING aquamarine colored eyes. His official name will be "Triton" (to go along with Neko, who's official name is "Osiris"), but I want another word for "cat" to call the new kitty, too, just to match... anyone got a good word for "cat" in another language?
I'll post the scenes I finished later...
EDIT: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO -CAT! ^__^
Your giffy ficcy will be finished soon, I promise!

A lot of the things I want to do are being left out, which annoys me a little. And Dake-kun wants to spend two days in P.E.I.--why? What is there to see on P.E.I.?
Bah...

Weather: Cool

He sniffed around. He stood up on his hind legs... and then he hopped in. O_o;;
The two of us were like "aw, crap", and had to chase him out--but I couldn't help but think how funny it would have been if Dake-kun had woken up to a squirrel sitting on his chest. XD

So once again I find myself sitting in the van and waiting for them. =_=;
I'm not so upset about it today, though... it's a comfy temperature here and windy enough to keep the bugs away. ^^;

Something that really annoyed me... the entire time we were out there, Ryuu-chan and Dake-kun kept calling the Bay of Fundy the "Bay of Funday" with the word ending in "day" instead of just "ee". It was annoying as hell. =_=;;
1:36 pm
Weather: Hot
Mood: Tired

Earlier, we stopped at Magnetic Hill, and Ryuu-chan and I went to the zoo there. ^^
It was fun 'cause I haven't been to a zoo in about ten years... though it was very very hot out, so most of the animals were just sitting/laying around and looking horribly overheated.
Once we were done at the zoo, we were going to see Magnetic Hill itself, but the others decided they didn't want to, so yet again we skipped over something I wanted to do...

We're now in Nova Scotia! ^__^
Our very first stop in this province yielded an Internet access computer... but it glitched and wouldn't let me into my email. =_=;; Grr...
9:34 pm

XP

Just finished an hour-long trail ride! >^__^< AM VERY HAPPY!
The funny thing is that while I can remember Ryuu-chan's horse's name (Casper) and Dake-kun's horse's name (Tom), I can't for the life of me remember my horse's name... ^^;;;

On a completely different note, my brain seems to be riddled with Rai/Suzuki scenes lately, and about half of them are ecchi as hell. ^^;;;

No shower for me today--because the showers where we stayed last night were coin-opperated and took loonies (dollars), and whilst I had tons of quarters and twonies (two dollar coins), I have no loonies whatsoever.
Mlarg... =_=;;

=_=;;

3:45 pm
Weather: Windy
Mood: Depressed
Music: Donna Lewis & Richard Marx ~ "Wonderful Journey"
We're on P.E.I. now.
There is fsking nothing to do here! Despite this, we're staying the night and probably for a good chunk of tomorrow, too. =_=;;
I want to go home, damnit!
Not feeling very well, either. Was feeling sick all day today as well as last night...
And I've decided that Dake-kun, while amusing at times, is possibly the most annoying person on Earth. He's like my brother only TWICE AS BAD! O_O;;
Every time he talks I want to snap at him.
Damnitall... >_<;;

-Wolf's Rain DVDs

So Ryuu-chan figures we'll make it to Quebec today... whether she means Quebec city or just the province remains unclear.
The place we stayed last night was nice, but I've come to the conclusion that people out here don't know what "camping" is.
You can't camp within the city limits, with no trees around you, on the equivallent of someone's front/back yard/lawn!
But at least this way there's bathrooms and showers available most places. ^^;;;
An on a completely unrelated subject, I think the started scenes count on this trip is around eight, while the finished scene count remains at a steady two...

We're definitely in Quebec! ^^;;

So we spent four hours today sitting around chatting with Ryuu-chan's friend, Nick, and though he seemed nice enough I didn't know him, so four hours was a bit excessive. =_=;;;
Asha: :So she claims...:
Hush, horse! O_O;;
