Is the Alien set you got this one (http://www.amazon.com/Alien-Quadrilogy-Aliens-Resurrection/dp/B0000VCZK2/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1199148092&sr=8-1)? I got one I think either last Christmas or my birthday, I forget. Anyway, the... seventh? DVD (I think, the one with Resurrection), I couldn't get it to work. I tried it on three or four different players, including the computer, and it was like there was nothing on the disc past the menu. And besides that the other DVds I had a hard time getting to work. It would take the player like 10-15 minutes to load the disc, and sometimes it wouldn't load at all so I'd have to keep taking it out and trying again. x.x
Anyways, I sent it back to Amazon and got a replacement set, and had exactly the same problems. So I ended up sending that one back too and haven't bothered to try again. Guess I'll just stick to VHS. ^^;
