The Mitchell's Vs The Machines

So, I wrote Snowflakes And Dragons and then I wrote Coffee Break, and then just for kicks I wrote Chapter Three of Chemistry (and then the beginning of Chapter Four); apparently my brain needed a Destiel break and just decided to switch to Hijack for the time being! This is okay with me, as long as I get back to Storm Season soon. Maybe if I write a chapter of Marked and another chapter of Chemistry I can get back to my Destiel binge as per normal lately.

ANYWAY. When I updated Chemistry I noticed that Katie Mitchell is listed as one of the characters in the fic, and I DO, vaguely, remember putting her in there, but it'd been so long since I watched The Mitchell's Vs The Machines that I didn't remember basically anything ABOUT her, so I downloaded the movie and I'm watching it now for the first time in a few years...

And I'd forgotten how much I love it. It's INSPIRED. I ADORE it. And Katie is such an awesome character, now I'm really looking forward to writing her in Chemistry (along with everyone else.) I think I find Katie oddly... relatable. Not with her relationships with her family, but with the person she is and how she struggles being a super odd, super creative person in the "normal" world.
