Horror High COMPLETE

167 PAGES, 10 CHAPTERS AND 70,521 WORDS AND HORROR HIGH IS COMPLETE! \o/

I still have to do some editing, but I finished it! And in record time! And that's not even counting the bits-and-pieces I randomly worked on other stuff while I was WRITING HH, either! :D

Tomorrow I post Chapter Two and we'll see how it goes! <3

Blah, Blah, Blah

Today I edited all 167 pages of Horror High, and also wrote a few pages of TKA, though I'm not sure I'm happy with what I wrote. I might go back and re-write some of it. Anyway, after editing HH ended up at 70,733 words, which is... ffffffreaking fantastic. 167 pages and over 70,000 words in less than a MONTH the ADHD meds are a fucking MIRACLE, I swear.

While I start working on TKA I'm going to write Cheap Motel and Counting Scars, and maybe work on a Valdemar fic? Possibly Wander or Not Horses. Or maybe Evolution, since I posted the prologue of that one to AO3 yesterday. I haven't decided. I think it'll depend on how well my brain takes to TKA as opposed to how it latched on to SPN/Destiel and HH. I'm really hoping the intense focus translates to original stuff as well.

Tomorrow I'm posting the second chapter of HH and we'll see how it goes. I think it might gain traction the more chapters I get out, especially once I get to posting the smutty stuff. That always gets people's attention. Though it IS top!Dean and bottom!Cas, so idk idk idk.

My brain wakes me up every morning at 6am on the dot, now, insisting that it's time to start writing. It's actually annoying because I'm only getting like five hours of sleep a night nowadays. I'm starting to drag. I'm so tired. My stupid headache is back, off-and-on, and my scoliosis is acting up from the lack of proper rest. My back is killing me.

Yesterday when I woke up at six I looked at the clock, said "fuck you" OUT LOUD and forced myself to go back to sleep until eight. Today when I tried to do the same thing, it didn't work. My brain was like "GET THE FUCK UP AND START WRITING GDI" and I, as a slave to my creativity, did what I was told. New Brain can be mean sometimes. =/

Also, my last three SPN novels (Cold Fire, Rite of Passage & Carved In Flesh) came in today, so now I just need Joyride and Children of Anubis, but they are being elusive for someone that doesn't want to spend $50 on a single paperback. I'll keep trying, eventually I'll get them I just have to be patient.

UPDATE: My brain has decided it wants to work on TKA AND a rework of The Spirit Fighters. Not really COMPLAINING, but WHERE DID THIS COME FROM??
