$ Stupid PC $

The digital camera won't work with my PC... something about USB ports and drivers. What a pain.

Oh well. I'll keep working on it and try to figure out what's going on. Le sigh.

Once I get it working right, I actually have decent photos of the rats and the mice that I can upload! The digital camera takes much better pictures than film camera does, at least when it comes to taking snapshots through the cage bars and stuff. Or so it would seem! ^_^ We'll see if/when I get them transferred to my computer...

That aside, this afternoon Mom and I shimmied over to the huge dollar store across town (it's like the size of a Walmart O_o) to get some misc. tupperware pieces. They sell pretty much any kind/size/shape of tupperware you could ever want and/or need, which is cool.

The reason we needed the containers is... BUGS. >.<;; Mom's place and mine/Sarah's have both been invaded by little black bugs that are not fruit flies, but other than that are completely unidentifiable. They haven't really gotten into my food, but they got into a bunch of Sarah's stuff (probably because she doesn't seal/store it properly), so I went out and got air-tight containers for my flour, sugar, pancake mix, cereal and similar stuff like that. Mom was doing the same thing. :)

The thing with me and dollar stores-- and I'm not ashamed to admit it-- is that I friggin' love them. >^-^;; They're about the only place I can actually afford to buy odds and ends for myself anymore. But I don't go to the big one we went to today often, because they sell practically everything, and I usually walk out with way more stuff than I need. ^^;

Today I got a bunch of tupperware, and then a couple of Sauce 'N' Cake mixes (lemon! X3), and a Frosty the Snowman tophat (they already have their Christmas stuff out @_@;;) because I already have a Santa hat, and an Elf hat from a couple of years ago. Ehehehe...

I also got a fancy-looking, pale-blue glass. ^_^ I... have a thing with glasses and mugs. I tend to buy them all the time, so I have way more of them than I actually need. This one, though, I bought with the somewhat vague idea of maybe making it into a beta fish bowl, since it's about the size of one. ^^

Anyhoo, then Mom and I went and got something to eat, and then we came back here and sat and talked for a while.

He had a pretty long discussion about the Backstreet Boys, actually. ^^; Because I mentioned that they have a new album out after however-many-years...

Oh! And I finished downloading Kyou Kara Maou ("Maoh", alternatively) yesterday, and it looks like it'll be fun. ^^ I had to burn it all onto discs really quickly, since the torrent had 39 episodes in it, so by the time it was done downloading, my computer was running pretty slowly... the whole series is something like 78 episodes, though, so 39 is only one season. >^-^;;

So many bishounen... X3 lol.
