Yumeko is demure and ladylike but NOT shy. She's actually outspoken and quite exuberant at times. She's a young kirin, but by human standards that doesn't really mean anything, she could be five years old or two hundred. In her human form she appears to be a young girl, though.

When I was designing Yumeko and picking out her color scheme I was going based on a blind box kirin figure that I got as a gift (see below), hence the blue and gold. And then I gave her lime green eyes just because, since the figure has its' eyes closed lol.
