Kittens And Gravitation

So, two days ago (Sunday morning), Dad brought that kitten for Sarah. And I was right, as soon as I saw him, I practically started squealing, and now I want another one of my own. >^-^;;; He's so cute... but, since it's been a huge change for him to move from down at the kennels up to here, he's really having trouble adjusting.

He cries whenever Sarah or I are out of sight (including at night) and isn't eating much. I keep telling Sarah he's fine, he just needs a couple of days to settle in, but at least three times every day she's at me for reasons why he isn't eating... =_=;; Like I know?

It's only been two days (not counting Sunday), and today isn't even over yet. When he gets hungry enough, he'll eat. He won't starve himself to death, so just stop stressing about it. And leave me alone, okay?!

GAH.

Now, as Gravitation is only 13 episodes (sans the OVA, which I don't have... yet!), I've managed to finish watching it already! I actually stayed up pretty late last night... ^^;; I was doing that "well, just one more episode and then I'll go to bed..." thing. I do the same thing with books sometimes.

Anyway, I enjoyed that series to an absurd degree. ^__^

You can tell how much I enjoy a show if I get so into it that I talk to myself/the characters/at the television while I'm watching it. It's been a long time since I did that, but I spent quite a bit of time nattering to no one in particular yesterday and today while I was watching Gravitation.

Fwee! XD

It makes me sad that it was only a short series, though...

Oh, and the dubbing company who got their hands on it should be SHOT. I watched about ten minutes of the last episode in the dub version just out of curiosity, and practically went into seizures. =_=;;

The only good thing I could say about it was that they were smart enough not to try to dub the songs, and left them in Japanese instead. THANK YOU.

You know, you should buy the manga where Shuichi doesn't look like a twelve-year old girl (and, from what they tell me, doesn't suffer from an extreme lack of spine). Plus, Tatsuha with his hair bleached and the loveliness that is Yoshiki Kitazawa. You don't want to miss out on that, I promise.
... yeah, I'm still scared of pink!Shuichi. But really, if you want more Gravitation, get the manga. The artwork might not be anything spectacular, but it's one of very few comics I know about that manages to be ridiculously silly and touching both at once. And, the angst never decends to the wangst, which really is something to be impressed with, all things considered.
And from what little I've seen of the anime, Ryuichi is actually SOMEWHAT more normal *g*

I'm having the same kind of problems with my kitty Storm. He's not new (I've had him for at least five years) but ever since our three female cats moved in (last summer? I don't remember) he's been mistreated by them. The girls attack him, torment him, chase him, and do all sorts of stuff. And because of that I've had to move him into my room and bathroom, where he spends almost all of his time except for the one or two hours every evening when I bring him out to see my parents. But he has developed a deep attachment to me and has become very needy regarding me. My poor kitty...
